If you’re looking for a way for your children (aged 6 to 16) to have a brilliant time, burn off some energy, improve their confidence, and meet new friends, look no further than our fantastic holiday courses that run during the school holidays from 10am-4pm daily, usually Monday to Friday. We take a unique and proven approach, honed over 20 years. We start with the name of the theme – that’s all! Over the course of 5 days the students invent the story, devise the scenes, script the play (weith us following on behind typing things up) and then putting on an amazing show for families and friends. It also means that every week is different so children can come to as many as they like. We often use the SandPit Theatre for the final show and recently we’ve been trying new things, such as performing around the school campus promenade-style. But wherever we stage it, the final show is always a smash! And perhaps the best recommendation comes from the number of children who come back to our holiday courses year after year. No experience is necessary, and there are no auditions.

Each week has a different theme which provides the starting base, and then in just five fun-packed days, our young people devise a complete musical show ready for performance on the last day for friends and family. It’s a unique formula, based on over 20 years’ experience bringing amazing holiday performing arts experiences to children.
Day 1 - we get to know each other, play games and son start to think about the songs and dances we'd like to feature. By the end of the day we will have an outline of the story we are going to tell.
Day 2 & 3 - Mornings are spent in our age groups (usually 6-8, 9-11 and 11+) in acting, singing and dancing classes devising scenes for the show and working on our musical numbers. In the afternoons we come together to work on opening/finale numbers and to show each other what we've been up to in the mornings.
Day 4 - we start to put the show together and by the end of the afternoon we might just have staggered through a full run!
Day 5 - into the theatre with costumes and make-up. We rehearse, dress rehearse and then it's SHOWTIME!!!
In St Albans, once more we are based at Sandringham School on The Ridgeway with classes in their excellent drama studios and with our show on the last day in the SandPit Theatre.
