Each of our 5 day courses will explore a different aspect of acting for stage and screen. Led by experienced industry professionals, each week will culminate in a showing of work for family and friends. Ideal for those studying drama at GCSE or A Level. This year our Holiday Camps will be extra special, as we celebrate our Silver Anniversary, 25 years of being Best!
Camp notes
Week 1: Off The Page
Mon 24 July - Fri 28 July 2023
Focussing on working with pre-existing text, these camp attendees will explore subtext, bringing characters to life from the page, staging and working as an ensemble.
Week 2: On The Spot
Mon 31 July - Fri 4 August 2023
This week will specialise in all things improv and creating from scratch, building narrative, thinking on your feet, devising and developing short to long form theatre.
Week 3: In Focus
Tue 8 August - Sat 12 August 2023
The final week will shine the spotlight on acting for screen and tv, working on naturalism, working with the camera and technique for self-taping (currently the most common first audition for both professional work and drama schools).
Secondary school age only (school years 7 - 13).
